Theses notes will tell you how to get into Blender and some of the basic functions.
To get into blender:

1. Click start
2. Click My Computer
3. Click Local Disk(C :)
4. Open the program files folder
5. Open the blender foundation folder
6. Open the blender folder
7. Click the orange and blue icon that says “Blender”
Always keep one hand on the mouse and one hand on the keyboard
The number pad is easier than always clicking the View button
If you forget how to use the number pad, click the “View” button in Blender to refresh your memory
Hold your mouse wheel (don’t scroll it) and move your mouse to use the perspective view
Arrows on the objects move the object around that plane
You can move the camera and light
The crosshairs show were your object will be added
Always save right before and after you make a big change, or save often.
Organize you blender to your preference, by adding windows, splitting areas, and changing views
With an object selected, hit the spacebar to pull up an object menu with many different options
Rotate: move mouse near desired object and hit the “R” key on your keyboard
Resize/scale: move mouse near desired object and hit the “S” key on your keyboard
Delete: select with the left mouse button and hit the Delete key
Undo: Ctrl + Z
